Summer Computer Classes

Back in May, we wrapped up our most successful semester of English Language Learner classes at Church of the Good Shepherd. For 14 weeks, some 65 adult learners honed their English speaking, reading, and writing skills. At the close of that 14 weeks, we coordinated with our partners at UNIDXS to meet the requests of our students to get some essential computer training and coordinated a six-week computer class as a sort of "mini-semester" session between ELL semesters.

So, this summer, we have hosted 10 students at Church of the Good Shepherd and provided them with computer training for everything from how to set up and access email to making the most of what Google Workspace has to offer. We have just two classes left before we close for a well-deserved break and to finalize planning for the upcoming ELL fall semester!
