pantry updating to digital intake

Staff from MANNA FoodBank joined Highlands Food Pantry staff and volunteers on Monday, March 4th, to introduce a new, digital intake platform to help us track our clients and provide data to inform our processes and better serve the community. Over the coming months, we will be slowly integrating the MANNA Mountain Card system that streamlines our current intake process. The pantry will be serving as a pilot program for the system, which MANNA hopes to roll out fully in 2025.

The Mountain Card will work similarly to a rewards card at a traditional grocery store, providing us not only an improved means of onboarding clients, but also with new tools to understand how the pantry is being utilized. This data can be applied to grant applications or public outreach - helping us to communicate the increasing needs that we see every week.
