Día del Niño a success!

CASHIERS, NC - After months of planning and preparations, the inaugural Día del Niño celebration took place on June 4th at the Jackson Country Recreation Park in Cashiers. By our estimates, nearly 250 people came from around the region to enjoy games, music, and some amazing food! The event was a collaboration between International Friendship Center, Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Western North Carolina, and Boys and Girls Club of the Plateau with some amazing support from the folks at Jackson County Parks and Rec. It was an incredible community-building event and we look forward to future collaborations with these partners.
