The Highlands-Cashiers Plateau COVID-19 Vaccination Initiative

In support of the Macon and Jackson County Health Departments in administering the COVID-19 vaccine to the Highlands and Cashiers plateau communities a consortium of community partners will be offering the:

A schedule of additional vaccine sites and times will be available soon.

In order to receive the vaccine , you must first be registered with the NC State CVMS (COVID-19 Vaccine Management System). This is the system that is being used to track and allocate vaccines across North Carolina. In order to begin the registration process, please click here to submit your name, email and phone number.

You will receive an email from the state that will require you to provide additional information to complete your registration. Once you have completed your CVMS registration, you can make an appointment to receive the vaccine by emailing us at highlandscovidvaccine@gmail.com.

Appointments by phone will be taken on Monday, January 18, from 4 to 8 pm by calling 828-526-1310. The program is open to all plateau residents. There are a limited number of appointment times available.

Additional vaccine sessions will be scheduled, including an on-site location in the Cashiers area in the near future.

We will be complying with the NC Governor’s orders for prioritization of vaccination.
